A small but enthsiastic group of alumni met in Darwin recently for dinner at Hanuman Restaurant. Many UNE alumni in Darwin work for either the Northern Territory government or in federal government departments; some are providing essential education and health services in remote parts of the Northern Territory.
As was to be expected, comparisons of the weather in Darwin and Armidale were a topic of conversation, with the Darwin temperatures hovering around 30 degrees while Armidale experienced typical winter temperatures of 15 degrees.
